Florence Roof Coating Company
Florence Metal Roof Coating is a roof coating company for commercial buildings. We inspect first, fix what needs fixing, and coat roofs that are ready for it.

How Our Roof Coating Company Works In Florence
Every job follows the same order, and the inspection report drives every later choice.

We work on commercial roofs only: warehouses, shops, flex buildings, churches, offices, and farm buildings in Florence and four nearby towns. A roof walk with screw tests and moisture readings comes before any price or product.
Permits for Florence roofs go through the Boone County Building Department, and we raise the permit question early whenever panels, structure, or roof edges change. Zoning questions about visible color changes on a street-facing roof go to the Boone County Planning Commission.
- Inspection and photos before any proposal
- Repairs listed separately from coating
- Products matched to drainage and the existing surface
- A walk-through and records at the end
Have A Roof You Want Checked?
Call or book online and tell us about the building and what you see on the roof. The inspection covers everything in the list below.
What The Roof Visit Covers
These items are checked on every inspection, along with the upkeep we recommend after a coating.
Screws tested by hand across the roof
Side laps, end laps, and the ridge cap opened where needed
Rust graded by area, red and white
Moisture readings over the insulation
Gutters, drains, and scuppers checked for flow
Curbs, pipe boots, and skylight panels inspected
After coating: a yearly roof walk and a check after major storms
After coating: clear gutters and keep foot traffic on marked paths
What We Will Not Do
Each line runs from roofs we coat to roofs we turn down. Past the open dot, we will tell you a coating is the wrong answer.
- We Coat
- We Repair First
- We Turn Down
Rust
Surface rust gets primed and coated, scattered holes get patched first, and rust-through across the roof is a coating job we turn down.
Insulation
Wet spots get cut out and replaced before coating, while a soaked roof is a replacement, so we decline to coat it.
Structure
Sagging framing needs structural work, and we decline to coat over it.
Shingle Condition
Curled or bald shingles are a replacement job, and we decline to coat them.
A coated roof keeps its original panels, so we describe it as a renewed surface on the existing roof and leave the new-roof question to your insurer or lender.
